Chapter 4 - Some Good Progress

I finished a few more buildings and getting close to having enough I think!  This construction goes pretty fast so it's easy to get carried away - hahahaha!

This building is a little different from the rest - it has a raised floor. I decided it would look more interesting in the town if there was some variety in shop entrances, so this one will have a few steps to the door.

The floor is resting on little strips glued along each wall, then glued and pinned in place. I thought I had taken a picture of that, but apparently I didn't.

I gave the second story of this building a nice tall peak, just to add some variety to the look of the buildings. The lower floor will be a bookstore and the upper floor will be a little apothecary shop. That one will be a lot of fun to make things for.

The little town got moved to a larger room in my studio. I had to swap places with my sewing room, which fits quite nicely in the smaller room. This room gives me enough space to have more tables, so more buildings and room for sidewalks and a bit of grassy space.

Still have a good spot to work on, and once all the basic buildings are done, this table will also be part of the town. I should finish the rest of the buildings in another week or two, then get on to interiors.
